Georgia Children’s Chorus welcomes treble voice singers in 2nd-12th grade for placement in one of three ensembles. Through GCC’s transformative program, singers enjoy the shared experience of creating choral music, acquiring musicianship skills, and building camaraderie and community with fellow choristers.
The GCC audition process is quick and painless, and we have fun! Singers should come prepared to sing My Country ‘Tis of Thee (link below). The director will vocalize each singer to determine their vocal range, assess their aural skills with exercises of tonal recall, and inquire about their music literacy experience. The audition appointment is also a great time to ask questions about GCC and share with us what you want in a community music experience. At GCC, we aim to help you learn, grow, and achieve your goals!
